Since the humble beginning of the program in 1973,
Bradley Central High School has established its self as one of Tennessee's elite wrestling programs. Starting in 1994, the Bears have won 17 Tennessee State Championships and won 16 straight Region 3 Dual Titles.
The history of the program includes an impressive array of individual achievements over the years. 40
state champions, 118 medallists and 5 Outstanding Wrestlers in the State Tournaments. In addition, 1 4-time state champion, 2 3-time state champions and 5 2-time state champions. The honors also
include 1 NCCA All American and 16 High School All-Americans. In 2001,
the Bears set the record for the highest point earned in a TSSAA State Traditional Tournament. (268 points) The 2007-2008 team is lead by Coaches Steve Logsdon, Chad Laxton, Ben
Smith, Daniel Montgomery, and Adam "Hank" Rains. The 2007-2008 co- captains are Dean Pavlou, Logan Biddy and David Graham. |
